We are thrilled to announce that Laura Simon has been named FY2026 Teacher of the Year at Powhatan Elementary!
Mrs. Simon, one of our outstanding second grade teachers, was nominated by several people to honor her and represent her school. She has shown exceptional dedication, passion, and creativity in the classroom, inspiring her students every day to reach their fullest potential. Her commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment makes her a true role model for both students and colleagues.
