Mrs. Eppes' Accounting students have successfully participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program and passed the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Tax Preparer Certification Exam. This certification qualifies them to prepare taxes under the supervision and final review of their instructor.

As part of this program, Powhatan High School will offer free tax preparation services for qualified individuals on three Saturdays in April. These sessions will take place in L-100 and the Library at PHS.
