The Powhatan Christmas Mother is reaching out to the community for support in making this holiday season special for local children and teens. This year, we are focusing on providing new sporting equipment and accessories for young athletes ages 8-18, and we need your help to make it happen!
What We Need:
We are accepting donations of all types of new sports equipment and accessories for male and female athletes, including:
Football gear: Footballs, helmets, pads, cleats
Basketball equipment: Basketballs, shoes, jerseys
Soccer gear: Soccer balls, shin guards, cleats
Baseball/Softball: Gloves, bats, balls, helmets
Tennis and other sports: Rackets, shoes, water bottles, gym bags, and more!
How to Donate:
Drop off new sporting goods at our designated donation locations:

PMS home basketball games on 12/9 & 12/11

For many children in our community, sports are an important part of their lives. However, the cost of sporting goods can often be a barrier. Your donations will give local youth the opportunity to participate in sports, build friendships, develop life skills, and stay active.
Your generosity can provide these kids with the tools they need to join teams, improve their skills, and most importantly, enjoy the sports they love. Whether it's a basketball for practice or cleats for a soccer match, your contribution makes a real difference.
