Mrs. Howell competed with her fourth-grade class at Pocahontas Elementary School during a math game focused on place value. The Powhatan High School Marching Band competed in its first marching band competition of the 2023 season on Sept. 30 at Hickory High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
