All schools of the division participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP); the National School Breakfast Program is operated at our elementary and middle school only. All meals are required by federal and state regulations to meet specific nutritional requirements. Lunches served are required to meet specific nutritional guidelines according to different grade level groups (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12). The meals provided must contain no more than 30% of the calories from fat, 10% from saturated fat, 0% from trans-fat, and must meet requirements for calories, protein, grains, vegetables, vitamins A and C, iron and calcium.

Our schools use the Offer vs. Serve program which states that school lunches must offer all five food components (fruit, vegetable, grain, meat/meat alternate, milk) each day. In Offer vs. Serve students are allowed to decline two items/components at lunch, except the student must select at least one serving of fruit or vegetable.

Funds remaining on a child's account at the end of the school year will be rolled over. Those funds will be available for use for the following school year. 

If you have a balance in MySchoolBucks when your child is graduating or transferring to another school division, you may request a refund of the balance on your account. Refunds will be provided via check and mailed to the address listed on the refund form.
