Mathematics is a way of thinking, communicating, and learning about the world. The goal of Powhatan County Public Schools is to ensure that each student is challenged to achieve mathematical literacy and power.  Successful learning involves the integrated, connected study of the various mathematics content strands (domains) as well as developed proficiency in understanding concepts, computing fluently, applying concepts, reasoning logically, and engaging with mathematics.

*Students enrolled in Integrated Math 1 (6th grade). Integrated Math 2 (7th grade) Integrated and Algebra 1 (8th grade) in Middle School will follow an integrated curriculum that will also include the Math 8 curriculum over the course of three years.
